Khan began writing Bajarangi Bhaijaan partly in response to the rise of religious sectariansim in India since the 1980s and particulary in response to the Bajarang Dal,a Hindi fufundamentalist organisation that appropriated Bajrangi for violent sectarian motives and played a central role in the dead 2002 Gujarat riots.

Then a 6-year old mute girl from Pakistan(Harshaali Malhotra) suddenly appears separated from her mother after a brief visit across the border to the Nizamuddin Darguh the sharine one of the worlds most famous sufi saints.Hazarat Nizamuddin Auliya she is lost and alone and Vulnerable.While her parents across the border worry and pray for the returen of their daughter her grandmother hopes that somehow she finds someone kind to take care of her.
Bajarangi Bhaijaan will count as Salaman Khan's best movie.Magnum opus in every way.it is a simple movie with an extraodinary script.A movie about an Indian who helps a Pakistani girl to go back to her country so she can be reunited with her parents.It teaches us that humanity is for above religion.
